The Hotel Chelsea, is a historic New York City hotel and landmark built in 1885, known primarily for its many famous residents over the years, including the likes of Bob Dylan, Iggy Pop, Leonard Cohen, Stanley Kubrick, Doris Chase, Charles James and Janis Joplin, to name but a few. It is also known for having a particularly long record of suicides and mysterious deaths. In an attempt to capture some of the hotel’s very own twisted history in print, fashion designer Stefanie Renoma teamed up with a small group of photographers, for a photography exhibition which will be hosted at her Paris-based store/gallery from May, 29 up until July, 31. Below you can find some visuals from one of the participating photographers, Frederic Monceau.
Duration | May 29 – July 31
Address | 118 Rue De Longchamps, Renoma Store, Paris, 75016
