The autumn/ winter collection from designer Andrea Cammarosano is a departure from the norm. Whilst previous collections have been bright and colourful, with loud prints, interesting shapes and an almost cartoonish, youthful feel, the latest collection is an altogether more sombre affair. When once there were bright colours, there is now black, grey and sandy brown. The thought and theory is still present though – these pieces look as they have been half made, moving through time and suspended in space. Sleeves have been exaggerated and emphasised and the long, lean shape fits well with the menswear mood of late. This range may appear as a departure for the designer, but the new shapes and moodier tone is all the better for the label.
