The latest collection from casual menswear label, Brand8 bears all hallmarks of their traditional Scandinavian designs with a focus on quality, simplicity and functionality. Added to the mix for SS16 is inspiration drawn from the work of German born American artist and educator Josef Albers (1888-1976). Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, Brand8 look to build on menswear classics, each season presenting these in unique ways. For SS16 the collection looks to the iconic abstract painting and colour theories that play with shapes and shades. Heavily influenced by the Bauhaus design school, the collection looks to create a flux between form and substance. Clothing is simple, cut straight and free of any fuss, paired with slick looking knitwear and shirting.
