Damien Ravn is a Belgium based womenswear designer, who recently unveiled his third full collection. The source of inspiration for the collection has been drawn from rising contemporary art and architecture styles of early 20th century Europe. Focusing his attention to the different style of buildings construction-wise, he applied the same method to his garments, the result? A minimal collection, decorated with heavy silhouettes which drape on the woman’s body. Every garment is made out of a single pattern cut on a 45 or 90 degree angle, with incorporated pockets and tailored sleeves. Black, plum beige and white are the dominant colours, one can expect from the new offering. Damien Ravn has created an aesthetically pleasing collection and is definitely on a winner with this one.
