It is indeed amazing, what the artist or designer can do with the colours black and white. The striking effects when either worn alone or pieced together form a complimentary clash which has been done with ease in the IRO SS14 collection. Teaming these two leading tones with flashes of cream, red check, and periwinkle blue, brothers Arik and Laurent Bitton opted for a subtle rock theme in their menswear line.
With Laurent having been a member of a rock band before delving into the fashion industry with his brother their past and current collections definitely steer towards a cool and casual street rock look with aspects of both New York and Parisian styles on hand. One thing to note about this collection is how subtly the pieces blend; never OTT or conscious of themselves. Edgy, buckled black boots, a casual two-piece suit and a double zip, off white leather jacket are some of the pieces to look out for, all of which mix and match well to suit any occasion.
