Whilst the collection strongly endorses scientific patterns, bold prints and shiny fabrics, the sheer aesthetic is both natural and future forward. By cleverly blending the past and the present into one, Julian Zigerli has created an often over sized perspective of the male form which suggests an alien/space narrative. From blue, purple and white patterns (a honey cone pattern); to pastel green knits; black net two piece garments and all white jumper-trouser combinations, the new line oozes a certain cleanliness which helps to create looks that are both crisp and sharp. Shades of pink and purple also help to endorse a sense of femininity within the collection. By blending strong black tailoring with a bold feminine palette of colours, Zigerli has suggested that AW14 will continue to embrace more unisex clothing choices and dare we say it, androgynous garments.
