The theme of geometry is studied in Lucio Vanotti’s Spring Summer 2016 collection as he captures the offset illusion of many different mathematical functions. Inspired by Japan, Vanotti explores the fundamentals of design and attention to detail through lengthy silhouettes and a cardinal assortment of patterns from techno grids to metrical stripes. Pinstripes, polka dots, boxed cut tees, longline shirts and straight cut trousers also shape the smart yet relaxed fit for next season, whilst sandals, heavy blue denim and robes make a statement for the Italian designer. The lookbook has been curated carefully through art and design, as a brown box or a grey shadow have been placed behind the models to add to the set for an elaborate and polished finish.
