Patrick Stephan is known and celebrated for his strongly considered pieces; mixing purity with elegance in order to execute this year’s Autumn Winter collection. Born and raised in Brittany, Stephan took the mighty leap from the north east of France to Japan after being spellbound by an exhibition showcasing Japanese craft. Through his appreciation of the precision and craftsmanship required for this form of art, inspiration was evidently injected into each piece. His stylish snoods, two-tone shirts and loose ¾ pants have been designed with subtle references to feminine cuts and shapes whilst still maintaining its masculinity.
The predominantly black colour palette is both clean and stylish, giving the wearer and viewer a chance to appreciate the garment details rather than get distracted. Down to the white back drop used for the lookbook images, everything has been considered to ensure the collection maintained its cool factor. Altogether a strong, fashion forward menswear collection to opt for as the winds and rains of fall arrive.
