Fresh out of London College of Fashion and Sing Yu Chan has already begun experimenting with innovative menswear design. Not an easy task, especially when you have to make a statement within an undoubtedly overcrowded industry. His graduate collection, however, not only delivers but also serves as a reminder that as long as there are young people trying their hardest, talent shall always find a way to shine. Inspired by the concept of ‘change’, Metamorphosis, features deconstructed tailoring with a futuristic twist. Using bold prints and a nice mix of colours such as burgundy, neon orange, light blue, white and ash grey on oversized coats, cropped pants, knitwear and shirts, the designer manages to merge these two elements in such a brilliant way that really makes us wonder what will his next move be.
