Raised in Cattolica, within the Italian province of Rimini, Massimo Leardini has easily become one of the most sought after photographers in Scandinavia. Back in 1987, Leardini decided to depart from his Italian roots and move to Norway. His visions bring together the beauty of the human body along with the timeless Scandinavian landscape. The photographs seem to show a form of purity but do also contain a certain spice of angst. The simplicity behind this art is what makes it so easy for the eyes to appreciate. Each contains a moment which reveals how the human body is a work of art all in itself and reminds us that nature can prove to be a spectacular canvas. Leardini’s work has received many awards and appears regularly in leading fashion magazines including, Elle, Carl’s Car, Smug and Personae, and S Magazine.
