Viktor & Rolf unveiled the AW15 lookbook of their menswear line during Paris Men’s Fashion Week and the pieces featured were predominantly sporty mixed with some very sharp tailoring. For the most part, the Dutch designers turned to tweed as their fabric of choice. As for motifs, they played with patterns, eye-catching colour blocking and highly pixelated graphics. Practical outerwear also seems to be the focus this time around with the duo opting for reversible raglan sleeve coats – wool on one side and nylon on the other. Padded jackets convey the athleticwear element to the collection while soft sweaters keep it earnestly casual. The most interesting aspect of the collection however is the choice of fitted silhouettes which are present everywhere from the skinny trousers to the turtlenecks and button-downs. All in all Viktor & Rolf kept true to their style while incorporating modern twists to a definitely fresh offering.
