Vivacita’s collection for Autumn-Winter 2013 continuous the deign philosophy of the brand which celebrates the city and it continuous rhythms. The designs are influenced from the urban landscape in both colors and form. The palette of the collection is monochromatic with splashes of metallic gold, moss green and beaver brown resembling the composition of the city with nature and sunlight disturbing the grey of the buildings. The inspiring origami looking folds on the jackets, coats and dresses which go along with oriental trousers create a collection with a vivid sensation of the East. The asymmetrical forms and the combination of textures give a unique style to the simplistic design, which frees the movement of the body. As a result the garment avoids a mass production character without loosing its usefulness. The designs don’t make a clear distinction which gender should wear them like a structure where it doesn’t matter who inhabits the space. The collection also depicts Chia Jen Chang studies on industrial design from the leather details to the multiple ways that the clothes can be worn.
