Somerset House in London is hosting until the 2nd of March 2014 an exhibition dedicated to Isabella Blow: A Fashion Galore!. They say that behind every great man there is a great woman, miss Blow was that kind of woman who knew what great fashion personas look like and how to reveal them. Isabella was the person, who discovered amongst others, two of the most influential fashion designers of the twenty first century, Alexander McQueen and Phillip Tracy. The exhibition is dedicated to her life, her work as well as her love for fashion. Curated by Alistair O’Neill with Shonagh Marshall and designed by award-winning architectural firm Carmody Groarke, with installations by celebrated set designer Shona Heath, the exhibition displays thematically the breadth of Isabella’s collection, a life lived through clothes. An exhibition definitely worth visiting for all fashion lovers, narrating the life of a true fashion ambassador and muse.
