Mirja Rosendahl’s offering for spring/summer 14’ explores two contrasts of masculinity; the rebellious spirit of 1950’s Rock ‘N’ Roll and the androgyny of the 1980’s New Romantics. The garments are typically derived from vintage USA fashions hency why the Elvis Presley references in the lookbook. Three quarter pants and jeans, trench coats, sweatshirts, loose shirts and kimono like tops are what one can enjoy in the new line. Some of the clothing is modified through materials like PVC and technical nylon adding a certain high-end edge to the overall styling. Mirja Rosendahl is truly looking to create her own identity as a fairly new and fresh designer through her collections.
