Japanese high end label SISE captures a new sensibility to the purple bumble bee of the fashion world, Tokyo. In the otherwise chaotic visuals of Tokyo fashion week, this label’s Spring 2014 collection is as cool as water. The monotone sweaters, long blazers, lab coats and double breasted coats are effortlessly chic. There are elements to this collection that convey the life of a very busy individual that still wants a stylish edge. The oversized proportions are so convenient because they can almost fit everything. Layering a couple large articles is the perfect ‘fit’ for a busy man that has little time in the morning. The monotone theme is quick fix for a matching dilemma, because everything just goes together. Although minimal styling seems to be the main theme for the collection, the fashion label still makes room for pizaz and texture. Some looks boast wild floral prints on dark fabric, making for an intriguing and engaging visual.
