Song For The Mute recently released their new collection for Summer Spring 2013 entitled Ligne. Featuring a story of well-tailored classic menswear with a twist, the new collection plays on the traditional tailored look with key features such as tapered denims giving the new line a feel of mixed culture and individuality. Its aesthetics are characterized by draped silhouettes, and thorough attention to detail supports features of strong lines with unique textures.
The new collection has used developed fabrics of 100% wool organza, wool that is light, yet not without structure, to ensure that the intricate stylisation won’t be weighing down the fabric and jeopardising its silhouette. The collections use of strong symmetry with unique fabrics are ones to be commended. The colour palette is limited to white, black and grey which gives the collection a muted yet effortlessly sophisticated aesthetic.
