Feminism, minimalism, and technology are the elements that make up Yasya Minochkina’s style inspiration for her designs. At the heart of her new SS 14′ collection lies the core of women’s fashion-the dress-whether it is a mini, midi, or maxi. The dresses for this particular collection have a fitted silhouette and pay a reference to the Victorian period and Christian Dior’s look of the 1950’s. Sportswear was another large component for the collection, as sheer bombers, oversized turtlenecks and crop tops were present. While prints are nearly nonexistent unless Minochhkina draws them in herself, and colors stay within neutral and pastel tones.
