What do Andy Warhol, Iggy Pop, Marilyn Monroe, Snoop Dog, Marlene Dietrich, Diane Pernet, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano and Alexander McQueen, all have in common? The most obvious answer would be that all of them compose what we consider to be culture today but that’s not the case here. The right answer actually lays in the works of Canadian-born designer Christopher Lee Sauvé and in specific his latest series. Dubbed MadMaus, Sauvé’s new vision sees a marriage between these inspirational figures and the iconic ears of Mickey Mouse, creating graphic visuals that are both fun and edgy in nature. Below you can have a look at some the illustrations which are both available as prints and on limited edition t-shirts.
