Continuing on last season’s military chic theme, Spring Summer 15’ finds Les Benjamins putting all focus on clean, sharp silhouettes and camouflage print. While one can spot certain similarities between the two lines, the new range feels completely fresh, even introducing an evolved version of the said camo which has been treated to look like abstract flowers. In addition, darker aesthetics were toned down, letting combat greens and browns run dominant throughout the wide offering of bomber jackets, shirts, sweaters, track pants and cargo shorts. Multiple pockets and external stitching details also came into play, giving a clear nod to military functionality and utility. It wouldn’t be a true Les Benjamins collection, however, if it weren’t for the graphic designs, upon which the brand has managed to build its reputation. Drawing inspiration from a pool of visuals featuring Miley Cyrus, Jay Z, Albert Einstein and more, this season’s graphics take the form of collages which are creative to say the least.
