Among many exciting events, the second day of London Collections also saw the grand debut of menswear designer Kaushal Niraula. Under his eponymous label, the designer presented a sleek and luxurious collection for AW13-14, which could be considered quite safe by many but nonetheless a great start. Inspired by the English gentleman of the Edwardian Era, the new line featured a wide range of trousers, blazers, knits, coats, formal shirts, bow ties and pocket squares in a palette of vibrant colours including turquoise, navy blue, pink and red as well as the more classic choices of white and black. Impeccable tailoring and the use of materials such as velvet, wool, cashmere and silk are what make this collection stand out and just keep us guessing what’s next for Kaushal Niraula.
