Cacharel has recently released its second menswear collection in Paris for Spring/Summer 2014, leaving all gals everywhere swooning over the too-cool-for-everything frenchman. Usually geared towards the femme population, it’s quite refreshing to see them once again give a respectable and befitting nod to the guys. Blooming radiantly with an indefectible variety of seasonal transition pieces, the two-tone epaulet detailed trench and the lightweight, textured sweater are terrific for getting you through the last bit of spring’s chill and into the warmth of the sun’s fresh rays with the folded khaki shorts and ombré gingham checked button up. The collection has a very contemporary casual disposition for the guy who’s running all over town with a packed agenda and minimal time for a coffee break, but nevertheless looking calm, cool, and most importantly, comfortable. A put together, no-fuss vibe has definitely been achieved here. The cool tone color palette is admirable all on its own. Think minimal yet eye catching prints featuring bright and sunny yellow, glacier blue, and peek-a-boo salmon. We wonder if all the guys over in Paris are dressed this way.. if so, we’re scheduling a summer vacation there stat.
