“We offer a journey without end, founded on the art of discovery…” The audience was submerged in what could be viewed as a controversial cocktail, but to those who take the time to think rather than merely react, there appeared to be meaning and intent in every action or prop used. The Beau Homme AW14 presentation took place yesterday evening at St Giles-In-The-Field parish. Guests were treated to an acoustic serenade by the Holy Water, as they were ushered to their seats in the main church. Each model represented one of the three gifts presented to the sacred child in the nativity story. Holding glasses of fine, red wine, they moved both humbly and gracefully through the church mingling with guests, while another group of ‘wise men’ got to work, constructing the great North Star. Key features of the collection included panelled, long sleeved tops with contrasted, religious inspired prints, bishop collars, waistcoats and a particularly eye catching, red two piece suit.
