Nasir Mazhar continued to march ever forward with his own particular aesthetic of bold, colorful 90’s hip hop inspired urban streetwear, modeled by an overtly buff cast of boys straight out of a Lil Kim video (enough to inspire any man to get to a gym post haste). Playing with colours such as Royal blues and metallics jacquards and Starks whites riffing the iconic American basketball/ cheerleader/ varsity uniform, the collection was nothing new, rather a continuation; a maturer offering of his signature pieces the bully cap, bondage streetstyle braces, tough accessories and the odd sinister face mask for good measure. Mazhar has gained an adoring following on the London scene, as much a style cult as that of his peers Astrid Anderson and KTZ. The flame of his own particular vision has clearly caught, and a modern ‘warriors’ tribe of his own born.
