The new menswear collection from New York brand ODD succeeds in its aim to empower men and women, as well as those that toe the line of gender ambiguity. A dark colour palette of black, navy and grey dominate the collection which is comprised mainly of strong, structured outerwear, jerseys and tailoring. There is an ease to this collection, which allows it to be intelligent and though provoking without being avant-garde or sensationalist in any way. Subtle details such as the use of the striped panel on the trousers and the soft, fitted but loose flow of the leather jacket separate the range from other labels and retain the ODD aesthetic. Whilst keeping in check with conservative menswear tastes and trends in emerging luxury sportswear and slim, tailored pieces, this collection retains its individuality. Particularly strong leather and outerwear pieces help to achieve this.
