The new collection from Sade English entitled ‘Skin’ takes the concepts of unisex fashion and oversized silhouettes to a whole new level. With the bold statement that she was “designing garments that are not built for society” after graduating from the renowned London College of Fashion, the second collection from Sade English does that – these are not pieces that everyman (or woman) would strut down the street in. Although if they did, they would be making a strong style statement. Mostly monochrome and entirely leather, the range plays with different proportions by expanding waistlines and lowering the lengths of shorts – in short, doing the exact opposite that many designers do. Entirely individual in her approach to fashion design, this is a collection from a designer that knows what she is doing and is not afraid to set her own path.
